Nought Wrong With Small Business Opportunities?
Feb 19th, 2007 by Freddie
Honestly, I’m sick and tired of the way so many folk are scathing about what we do. The world of small business opportunities is a fantastic one! Why?
There are SO many reasons why. Here’s a few to warm the cockles:
- Having your own small business from home means no clocking in time, no allotted lunch break, no working late if you don’t want to.
- It also means holiday’s when you want, for as long as you want. Once a small business opportunity really takes off you’ll increasingly find it’s less work and more play!
- You’re your own boss. That means working on YOUR terms. No bureaucracy and no red tape. If you want to try something out you can simply go ahead and do it! Forget endless meetings with shareholders, finance directors, lawyers. No more time wasting and procrastination!
- Since it’s YOUR business you literally get out what you put in. So many of my friends complain about how they aren’t properly acknoweledged at work. How their overworked and underpaid. Because you’re in charge of your own small business, how much money you make is entirely down to you. There are so many small business opportunities out there! If your enterprise exporting Peruvian mouseskin rugs doesn’t quite take off remember the old adage: “there are plenty more fish in the sea!” (it applies to small business opportunities as well!).
I really think we entrepreneurs are the luckiest people in the world. The freedom the comes with pursuing your own small business is priceless. It frees us from the rat race and gives us infintely more time to focus on the important things in life.
So hoorah for small business opportunities!
ta ra for now.

Hi Freddie
Love the blog!
The points you make about small business opportunities are especially pertinent. Okay, I don’t make a fortune, but the freedom to work in my dressing gown if I wish; work in the middle of the night if I cant sleep; go shopping on Monday mornings instead of battling the motorways to get to a job I hate … Can’t beat it!!
Thank you again for an interesting read twice a week - really appreciated.
